Job Summary

A long-term nanny is sought for a family in Poole, BH14. The role provides after school and holiday care for two children, aged 13 and 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Support children after school and on holidays - Tuesday and Wednesday 3 pm to 6 pm during term time, and full days during school holidays.
• Assist with homework, prepare and provide evening meals, and handle nursery duties, crafts and games.
• Provide general childcare support, maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
• Optionally support with housekeeping or additional work days if desired.

Qualifications

• Previous childcare experience with checkable references.
• Preferably a car driver (not essential as the school is within walking distance).
• If not already registered, willingness to become Ofsted registered - the family will cover registration costs.
• Comfortable committing to a long-term arrangement and able to start before 8 September 2026.

Location and Hours

Location: Lower Parkstone, Poole, BH14. Permanent position, live out. Minimum hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 3 pm-6 pm during term time; ideally full days during school holidays.

Compensation

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Start Date

Ideal start mid August, must start by early September 2026.
