Dream Medical is working with a respected Practice in the Leeds area and urgently requires a part time Practice Nurse ASAP.
Your duties will include:
- undertaking health screening, surveillance, new patient screens and immunisations;
- assessing and caring for patients presenting with wounds, including removal of sutures and clips and leg ulcer management;
- undertaking cervical cytology screening in line with national guidelines;
- performing venepuncture;
- assisting with minor surgery;
- having experience with respiratory, cytology, dressings and wound care, along with family planning and pill checks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of nursing care within the clinical areas, be patient focused, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, and possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The role requires a UK registered nurse with significant post registration experience.
This is a part time role, 12 hours per week, with a salary of £10,000 depending on experience plus additional benefits.
