Performance Test Engineer to work 100% remotely for The Hague

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to work for a client project that is in The Hague.

Location: 100% off-site/remote work

Start date: Flexible, ASAP

End-date: 31.07.2026; possible extension

Task description:

• Advisory support to project managers for both new and ongoing projects in order to help identify their requirements for testing support services.
• Advising on and implementing general Test Management, Test Analysis and Test Automation processes improvement.
• Advising on and implementation of Observability and Monitoring capabilities in a multi-cloud highly diverse heterogenous environment covering both classical three tier architecture as well as internal/external cloud deployments.
• Ensure static analysis practices implementation and execution
• Exploring and implementing new and innovative functional and non-functional requirements coverage strategies.
• Non-Functional Testing (NFT) build and execution pipeline

Job requirements:

• University degree (master or equivalent) in Computer Sciences.
• Minimum 4 years of automated and manual software testing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in performance engineering.
• Proven technical experience of:
  • K6.io performance testing tool.
  • JS, Python and K8S.
  • Functional and non-functional testing activities within a multi-platform heterogeneous environment.
  • Combination of development, DevSecOps, and test automation skills using Java, JavaScript, Go, and Groovy languages.
  • Cloud Native infrastructure and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) software design principles.
  • Open-Source Cloud Native infrastructure and BDD software design principles and their implementation.
  • Open-Source Cloud Native monitoring and observability tools, Prometheus
  • CI/CD pipeline construction for automated tests using Jenkins (Shell Scripting), deploying to Docker and Kubernetes environments using declarative continuous delivery tools like ArgoCD.
  • Grafana, Loki, as well as a proprietary one AppDynamics.
