Job Description: As a Performance Engineer at Causal, you will optimize the core calculation engine of a next-generation spreadsheet tool. What you will do
  • Optimize and scale the calculation engine's capacity and throughput using Go, TypeScript, and Postgres to handle complex, real-time datasets.

The ideal candidate
  • Has 5+ years of software engineering experience with a deep understanding of backend technologies including Go, Node.js, and Redis.
  • Possesses strong expertise in algorithms and data structures, specifically graph algorithms, to solve intricate computation and scaling challenges.
  • Proven track record in a Series A to C startup environment with the ability to take features from initial concept to production independently.
