Job Description

Huawei Research and Development UK Limited in Cambridge seeks a Performance Engineer to accelerate managed runtimes on ARM64 mobile-class CPUs. You will work across the full runtime stack-from interpreter and JIT to GC and runtime libraries-and drive measurable speedups through patches and rigorous validation.

The role requires hands-on C/C++ expertise, strong profiling skills, and a track record of performance improvements in language runtimes or VMs.
