People Services Lead

Job Summary

Lead and develop the People Services team for Biocomposites Group, ensuring delivery of an efficient, effective, and customer-focused service. Support people development by applying best practices and technology to drive continuous improvement. Develop high-performing People Services that comply with regulatory requirements and audit standards across all operating countries.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the quality of People Services provides employees and candidates with an excellent experience.
2. Lead through a hands-on approach, developing a high-performing People Service team supporting HR functions.
3. Manage data, administration, payroll, and advisory processes in line with legal requirements and company policies.
4. Promote a culture of attention to detail, compliance, and accuracy, working with the HR team to improve services and data integrity.
5. Embed the use of HR systems, ATS, and best practices across the team to maximize system functionality.
6. Manage resources effectively to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction, supporting HR teams during peak demands.
7. Maintain effective relationships with HR colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
8. Ensure accuracy and consistency in People Services advice through regular checks and follow-up.
9. Act as Data Protection champion, ensuring GDPR compliance in all activities.
10. Develop and motivate team members to achieve high performance and customer service standards.
11. Secure and accurately maintain all HR information in line with GDPR and legislation.
12. Prepare monthly HR analytics and reports for the HR Director, covering key HR performance metrics.
13. Monitor HR budget expenditure and manage related purchase orders.
14. Develop, implement, and monitor a People Services operating plan.

Experience

1. Educated to Level 4 (A-level or equivalent).
2. CIPD qualification at Level 7.
3. Proven leadership and team motivation experience.
4. Experience in driving continuous improvement.
5. Background in developing customer-focused HR services.
6. General HR experience with knowledge of employment law and best practices.
7. Working knowledge of GDPR.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
9. Strong knowledge of HR systems and case management.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize effectively.
12. Analytical skills to identify trends and implement solutions for process improvements.
