People Business Partner!
Location: Manchester - Hybrid 2/3 days in the office
Contract Type: FTC to potential permanent
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced People Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you'll work closely with business leaders to deliver a comprehensive HR partnering service that drives performance, engagement, and organisational success. You'll lead on people plans, projects, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with our corporate strategy and values.
What You'll Do
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement functional People Plans.
- Provide expert advice on transformational change and all aspects of the colleague life cycle.
- Manage complex ER casework and guide managers on best practice.
- Review and update people policies in line with legislation and organisational values.
- Support job evaluation, pay benchmarking, and engagement initiatives.
- Deliver HR training interventions and coach managers to build capability.
- Analyse data and insights to inform action plans and improve engagement.
- Lead and support people-related projects across the organisation.
- Champion Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in all HR initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Chartered CIPD status.
- Strong track record in ER/casework and employment law.
- Proven experience as a trusted business partner with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in developing people plans and delivering HR projects.
- Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable: Experience across multiple sectors (public, private, third sector).
