Hybrid role covering our Southeast and South-Central Regions. Regular travel between our branches in these regions is required. You can be based at either Scania Purfleet (RM19 1TB) or Scania Heathrow (TW19 7LY).
Southeast - Maidstone, Gatwick, South Mimms, Stansted and Purfleet.
South Central - Heathrow, Banbury, Abingdon, Swindon, Southampton and Fareham.

As a People Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Scania culture allows people and customers to thrive. The role balances a complex employee relations caseload with strategic support to the regions you partner with and cross functional projects with People & Culture and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Support all aspects of the colleague life cycle from onboarding, workforce planning, reward and recognition, and talent & succession.
- Deliver a seamless colleague experience.
- Provide commercially focused advice to managers on complex employee relations issues.
- Coach people managers in skills to develop and engage colleagues, including performance and development discussions.
- Regular and routine branch visits across your region; build meaningful relationships.
- Monitor and report on relevant KPIs, including turnover, survey participation, and overall index.
- Lead people related projects within the team.
- Passionate about people and committed to a culture where colleagues and customers thrive.
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
- Strong ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience partnering/supporting managers in an HR role.
- Experience supporting the delivery of strategic change in HR.
- Focused on improving and simplifying processes.
- Confidence to challenge and develop people managers constructively.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
