Company Introduction
We are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join our client in the Telecoms industry.
You will be accountable for partnering with key business stakeholders to understand and determine the appropriate people interventions that support the business objectives, driving both increased business performance and employee engagement.
You will collaborate with the Centres of Excellence to identify and shape solutions that are subsequently introduced and implemented into the business to support delivery of both local and global strategy.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Act as a strategic business partner, contributing to functional plans and priorities by aligning people strategies with business objectives.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify, plan, and deliver people-related projects and initiatives, including cyclical HR activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in business performance by effectively delivering key people initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent, proactive, and high-quality customer-focused HR service across all touchpoints.
- Promote and support a commercially focused people management culture aligned with the comapnies brand, values, and behaviours.
- Enable the execution of the Reward strategy, ensuring reward practices are fit for purpose and support employee retention and recognition.
- Lead the delivery of cyclical people processes (eg, annual compensation reviews, talent reviews, engagement surveys) within your client group.
- Enhance team capability through coaching, guidance, and the application of proven learning and development interventions.
- Support organizational design initiatives, ensuring structures align with agreed principles (eg, spans and layers) and functional objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, leaders, and the Works Council, reflecting our commitment to our People strategy.
- Enable effective change management during transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the brands values and cultural principles.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends and recommend proactive, ROI-driven solutions in areas such as attrition, performance, development, engagement, and resourcing.
Required Skills/Experience
- Relevant business Degree or professional HR qualification. (eg CIPD)
- Strong generalist HR experience in a dynamic, commercial environment
- Experience of sourcing, developing and delivering Learning & Development solutions
- Previous experience of working within a global organization is preferable but not essential
- Ability to deliver a proactive HR service and implementing a people strategy in line with business objectives.
- Proven experience of working in and/or leading large organisation people or change projects
- An ability to manage and resolve conflicting priorities and stakeholder concerns
- Proven experience of working with high quality, results focused, people teams
- PC literate including excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project and Oracle.
- Good understanding of People policies and procedures, best practice and current thinking regarding effective and commercially sound employment practices.
