People and Culture Advisor - Staff Experience

We have an opportunity for an Advisor to join our friendly team focusing on a wide range of areas including People and Culture issues and casework, staff experience, health and wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion.
We're looking for an individual who is part qualified or currently working towards the Level 5 CIPD qualification and who has experience providing HR advice on a range of People related issues, as well as an enthusiasm for improving staff experience and health and wellbeing through the delivery of diverse projects.
Main Duties of the JobProvide professional advice, guidance and coaching to managers on People issues and casework in accordance with the organisation's policies, employment legislation, ACAS codes of practice and other professional standards. Support managers in resolving People issues informally wherever possible.
Lead or participate in wellbeing initiatives, review data and best practice, engage with staff and staff networks to gather feedback, and make recommendations on appropriate initiatives. Effectively communicate with a wide variety of staff through presentations, briefings and written reports or newsletters.
Qualifications and Knowledge- Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Part qualified or working towards CIPD qualification.
- Commitment to ongoing personal development.
- Current knowledge of employment law.
- Experience providing advice on employee relations.
- Experience participating in and advising on performance management, investigations and hearings.
- Experience delivering HR services in a client facing organisation.
- Experience maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Recent experience within a similar role in the NHS.
- Experience managing employee relations with trade unions.
