About the Role:

As a People Advisor, you will be an integral member of the People Team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the department. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied and high volume Employee Relations caseload, primarily including absence management, welfare, performance management, maternity/paternity, disciplinaries and grievances - with the support of the HRBP.
  • Providing comprehensive support and advice to line managers on a wide range of Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies, and best practice.
  • Championing and maintaining a culture of service excellence; ensuring that the expectations and requirements of the department's stakeholders are delivered upon.
  • Facilitating formal meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and procedural compliance.
  • Ensuring that all documentation and records that are created and maintained by you are complete, accurate and aligned with any required standards.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation.
  • Support the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery and reduce organisational risk.
  • Previous HR experience with a solid understanding of Employee Relations, formal HR processes & Employment Law
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively build relationships
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CIPD Qualified (Level 3 or above)
