Pensions Strategy Director (LGPS Leader)

Dorset Council is seeking a Head of Pensions to lead the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) across Dorset, providing strategic direction and ensuring delivery of the £4.9bn Pension Fund with governance, investment, and administration oversight.

The role involves collaboration with LPPI, external advisers, and a multi-disciplinary team to shape investment strategy and improve pension services for over 120 employers, supported by a strong finance and political acumen within the public sector.
