Job Description
My client is currently looking for a Pensions Administration Manager on a 12-month maternity cover contract in Manchester.
Main purpose of the job- The Administration Manager will be responsible for providing inspired leadership, supporting the pensions team, and managing all day-to-day operations across the administration teams.
- Implement and oversee training and development of the team.
- Support client and adviser needs with high professional standards, following brand and company guidelines.
- Deal with internal teams and external entities such as financial advisers, surveyors, lenders, and solicitors.
- Contribute to launching new products into the UK market and prepare for further growth.
- Work with Group Technology to identify system and process enhancements to improve efficiency and service.
- Manage team leaders and teams, providing leadership and development opportunities.
- Support complex administrative areas and handle a range of queries from advisers and members.
- Resolve issues from non-standard queries and policies.
- Implement new initiatives with the administration teams, collaborating with group resources.
- Build relationships with advisers and clients, delivering exceptional communication and service.
- Leadership and management skills to lead and develop teams while managing daily processes.
- Previous experience in the pensions industry, especially in operational or administration management roles. UK pensions experience is a plus.
- Understanding of pension rules, including draw-down, bereavement, and divorce calculations.
- Ability to review and improve processes, collaborating across the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and data analysis skills.
