Rate: £400/day
Contract Type: Short term 2 week assignment initially

We're seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to lead a detailed audit of pensionable pay processes within a large-scale or public sector environment. You'll review payroll records, assess pensionable earnings accuracy, and ensure compliance with scheme and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit pensionable pay processes across all employee categories
• Identify discrepancies and risks in payroll calculations
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and pensions teams
• Deliver evidence-based audit reports with actionable recommendations

Essential Skills:

• Strong payroll operations experience
• In-depth knowledge of pensionable pay rules and HMRC regulations
• Audit and investigation experience
• Proficiency in payroll systems and Excel

Desirable:

• Experience with SAP or pensions administration systems
• CIPP or IIA qualification
