Job Description

We're working with an established cybersecurity consultancy that is looking to hire a Penetration Tester as part of their continued growth. This is a fully remote role, offering exposure to a broad client base and varied technical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver penetration testing engagements including:
    • Web application testing
    • Internal and external infrastructure testing
    • API and cloud-based assessments
  • Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities using industry-standard tools and techniques
  • Produce clear, concise, and professional reports suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide remediation advice and support to clients
  • Work independently while collaborating with wider consultancy teams
  • Keep up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies
Requirements
  • Commercial experience in penetration testing or offensive security
  • Strong understanding of common attack vectors and vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
  • Hands on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of networking, operating systems, and web technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
Desirable
  • Certifications (Ideally CREST)
  • Consultancy or client-facing background
Salary & Package
  • Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
