Job Description
About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our Sports Team. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher or an ECT with a positive and open approach to learning. You will join our team of supportive professionals teaching across all year groups.

As our PE Teacher you will be a strong and effective practitioner with high expectations for yourself and our students to ensure they all achieve their very best. You will plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum development particularly those relating to PE.

Applications are invited from teachers and ECTs who have experience of teaching across the range of PE subjects.

We would be particularly interested in applications from those who can support with the development and engagement of girls PE, which would attract a TLR payment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach PE across all year groups.
  • Plan, design and deliver a creative, engaging curriculum aligned with national curriculum.
  • Use your knowledge of curriculum development to support student progress.
  • Support the development and engagement of girls in PE.
  • Maintain high expectations for students and assess performance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified teacher or an ECT with the relevant subject qualifications.
  • Positive, open approach to learning.
  • Experience of teaching a range of PE subjects.
  • Knowledge of current PE curriculum.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
