PE Teacher Boston

About the role:

A thriving secondary school in Boston is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team on a full time, long term basis from May 2026.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical fitness, teamwork and personal development. You will be part of a supportive department committed to high standards and a positive sporting culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high quality PE lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
• Teach a broad range of activities across KS3 and KS4, including preparation for GCSE PE where required.
• Promote participation, resilience and healthy lifestyles through engaging practical sessions.
• Maintain excellent behaviour management and ensure a safe learning environment at all times.
• Contribute to extracurricular sport, including clubs, fixtures and whole school events.
• Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies.

Pre requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physical education.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to inspire confidence, teamwork and a positive attitude towards sport.
• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
