NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established OEM organisation who are looking for an experienced PDI Technician to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work with modern heavy equipment in a clean, professional workshop environment with strong long-term progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre delivery inspections, assembly, testing, and preparation of new heavy plant equipment prior to customer delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring machines are delivered to the highest standards while supporting workshop operations and quality control processes.
The Role- Carrying out PDI inspections on new heavy plant equipment
- Assembly, testing, and commissioning of machinery
- Completing diagnostic checks and ensuring machines meet OEM standards
- Identifying and rectifying faults prior to delivery
- Completing all associated paperwork and inspection reports
- Supporting workshop engineers and service teams where required
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workshop housekeeping
- Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, or Workshop Engineer
- Background working on heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or similar
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault finding skills
- Experience using diagnostic equipment advantageous
- Motivated and professional attitude with strong attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
