PDI Operative

Overview

Manpower UK is recruiting a PDI Operative to join our client in Immingham and the Killingholme area. The role is temporary and based at the port. The schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, starting at 6am or 7am and finishing between 4pm and 5pm depending on volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Pre Delivery Inspections (PDI) on vehicles
• Road test vehicles and adjust tyre pressure
• Inspect vehicles on ramps and install registration plates
• Use torque wrenches and run diagnostic checks
• Valet and conduct quality checks
• Handle vehicle paperwork, confirm VIN numbers and report defects
• Move vehicles safely around the port
• Maintain high vehicle presentation standards
• Follow Health and Safety rules
• Attend meetings and train staff as needed

Requirements

• Detail oriented with strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Age 22 or older (for insurance purposes)
• Own vehicle to access the site
• Mechanical aptitude

Pay

Hourly rate of £12.61 to £12.71.
