The Digital,IT, and Transformation Lead will manage, maintain, and support existingprojects and infrastructure across the PCN, ensuring they continue to delivermeasurable benefits. The role will also involve scoping, planning, anddelivering new initiatives, with a strong emphasis on enhancing digitalcapabilities and optimising IT systems.
In addition,the role will provide hands-on IT support to practices within the network,resolving day-to-day issues, supporting the use of digital tools, and ensuringsystems are optimised for efficiency, security, and patient benefit. Theposition will balance operational IT support with strategic digitaltransformation, underpinned by a quality improvement methodology.
Main duties of the jobTransformationProjects
Oversee & maintain the delivery of existingtransformation projects ensuring sustainability & ongoing benefits.
Scope, plan, & implement transformationinitiatives, working with clinical & management teams to ensure alignmentwith PCN priorities.
Monitor & evaluate the outcomes of transformation projects, producing reports & recommendations for improvement;present findings to stakeholders at PCN meetings
Draft & prepare reports to support financialclaims and ensuring timely submission to theIntegrated Care Board
IT Support & Infrastructure
Act as the first point of contact for IT querieswithin the PCN, providing hands-on technical support to practices.
Troubleshoot & resolve software issues promptly to minimise disruption.
Liaise with our external IT supplier to escalate & resolve more complex issues.
Ensure implementation of systems complies with NHSEngland, GDPR & cybersecurity requirements.
Training & Digital Capability
Provide training &guidance to staff on the useof clinical systems, digital tools & IT processes.
Ensure all staff receive induction on the PCNs IT systems & digitalresources.
Develop & maintain user guides, FAQs & knowledge resources for practices.
Data & Reporting
Support practices in using business intelligencetools to extract, interpret & act on data.
Promote high standards of data quality & integrity across the network.

Our aim at Greenwich PCN Alliance Limited is support the improvement of primary care across Greenwich by providing support to Primary Care Networks (PCN) across Greenwich and recruiting Additional Roles via the the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS)

Person Specification Knowledge and Skills- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365, clinical systems (e.g., EMIS), and networking basics.
