Type:Full-time, permanent

Our client, an established semi state organisation, is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join their Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Payroll Supervisor will oversee payroll and travel and subsistence and manage a team of 2.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee end to end payroll process ensuring it is prepared, reviewed and processed completely and accurately
  • Maintain full ownership of the fortnightly payroll cycle
  • Prepare and submit all annual statutory returns, regulatory filings and payroll reporting
  • Manage and respond to internal and external payroll queries
  • Oversee the processing and payment of travel and subsistence claims, ensuring timely reimbursement of approved expense
  • File payroll submissions in line with Real Time Reporting (RTR) requirements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc payroll and expense reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and year end processes, including payroll analytics and cost trend analysis
  • Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in payroll operations within a medium to large or complex organisation including some at supervisory level
  • Hands on experience with payroll and HR systems (CoreHR would be a distinct advantage)
  • IPASS qualified or equivalent
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated with ability to motivate others
