The Role

As Payroll Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly and accurately. You'll be part of an experienced team, managing both weekly and monthly payroll cycles and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll for over 400 employees, meeting strict deadlines.
  • Manage time and attendance systems, starters, leavers, and transfers.
  • Administer salary changes, benefits schemes (including childcare vouchers and share schemes), and statutory reporting.
  • Perform manual calculations for tax, NI, and other deductions when required.
  • Support pension payroll, auto-enrolment, and year-end processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Assist in streamlining payroll processes and driving efficiency.
What We're Looking For
  • 2-3 years' experience in a payroll role (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Excellent Excel and IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and use initiative.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail.
