Job Description

Payroll Supervisor

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
  • Oversee payroll reporting and provide detailed analysis to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to reconcile payroll accounts.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and update payroll systems to reflect organisational changes.
  • Support audits by providing accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Supervisor should have

  • Strong expertise in payroll oversight - not only team but end to end exposure
  • Proficiency in multiple payroll software as well as competent with MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of current payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies efficiently.
  • Happy to work within a hybrid structure (with office base in Buckinghamshire)
