Job Description

Payroll Manager

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee payroll systems and resolve any discrepancies or technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports, including tax filings and pension contributions.
  • Provide guidance and support to wider payroll staff.
  • Monitor changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries timely
The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
  • Experience leader
  • Happy to adhere to an office based role (Reading)
  • Familiarity with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
