Payroll Clerk West Midlands £30,000+

Are you an experienced Payroll Clerk with a strong background in high volume payroll processing? We are looking for a skilled and detail focusedindividual to join our client in the Birmingham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has hands on experience processing large payrolls and using ERP systems. You will play a key role in delivering an accurate and timely payroll service, working in a fast paced environment and undertaking end to end payroll processing.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Accurately process payroll within agreed timescales
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee payroll records
• Manage all payroll changes, including processing starters and leavers
• Deal with payroll related queries from employees, providing timely and accurate resolutions
• Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently, ensuring issues are addressed promptly

To be considered for this role, you must have the desired skills and experience below:

• Proven experience of end to end payroll processing in a large volume environment
• ERP experience
• Up to date knowledgeof payroll legislation
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment

Candidates who are available at short notice would be preferred.
