Summary

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator/ advisor to join our team in Uckfield, East Sussex. This vital role, based in our Head Office, involves managing payroll processes with precision and supporting our commitment to excellent service. Your expertise will help ensure smooth payroll operations aligned with our core values.
Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing using Sage 50 payroll and Sage HR.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of payroll records.
• Handle accounts payable related to payroll activities.
• Collaborate with HR teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or improvements.
• Support the implementation of payroll software such as Sage HR
• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information.
• Assist with ad hoc HR or payroll projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in payroll administration and confidence working with payroll systems ( Sage 50 payroll Sage HR would be a great asset).
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong data entry and analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in human resources related to payroll is desirable.
