Job Description

Our client, a well-respected accountancy practice based in Westmeath, is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. The Payroll Administrator will play a key role in delivering outsourced payroll services to clients across a wide range of industry sectors, each with their own diverse payroll requirements. This is a fully on site role, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with clients to gather payroll data, resolve queries, and maintain a professional, efficient service.
  • Handle starters, leavers, statutory deductions, pensions, BIK calculations, and tax documentation.
  • Prepare PAYE, PRSI, EFT files, maintain accurate records, and review payroll reports prior to client distribution.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience in a fast paced office environment.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with payroll software such as Quantum or similar.
  • High accuracy, strong problem solving ability, and excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • This role is fully on site 5 days per week. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Athlone office Monday to Friday 9am 5:30pm.
