Payments Team Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payments Team Leader to join our Accounts Payable Team. In this role, you will lead a small team responsible for administering and processing invoices and allowances across Solihull Council's expenditure and identify efficient and innovative working practices.
About the roleYou will join us in a fast-paced finance environment at an exciting time, as we continue to develop our use of the Oracle Cloud finance system and introduce new, innovative ways of working.
What you'll need- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C / 9-4, including Maths and English
- Part or full AAT qualification (or an equivalent finance qualification)
- Experience of managing, supervising or mentoring a team
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident IT skills, including experience using spreadsheets
- Strong communication and organisational skills
