The RoleThis role sits within a specialist patent litigation team advising on high value revocation and infringement proceedings before the English courts. The practice has particular strength in life sciences litigation, including pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device disputes, as well as technology and telecoms matters, including standard essential patents and FRAND litigation.
As a newly qualified associate, you will be closely involved in major disputes from an early stage, gaining exposure to pleadings, evidence, hearings and strategic decision making. The work is technically demanding and often international in scope, with close collaboration across jurisdictions.
What They're Looking For- September 2026 Qualifier with a strong interest in patent litigation.
- Academic or practical background in life sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, technology or similar technical disciplines is highly relevant.
- Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to engage with complex technical material.
- Comfortable working in fast paced litigation teams on high stakes matters.
- Motivated to develop a long term career within a specialist IP litigation practice.
