The Role:
Together, we are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Patent Attorney to join their Dublin office. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal and technical knowledge with a keen interest in leading edge technologies.
Key responsibilities include providing legal advice on valuable IP rights (patents, technical data, licenses, designs), interpreting laws/regulations, conducting deep technical and legal research, drafting and prosecuting patents, and offering legal representation to clients in EPO or other IP matters.
Requirements- Qualified European Patent Attorney
- 10 years experience in patents
- Preferably an honours degree in electronic, electrical or computer related field (other degrees will be considered depending on experience)
- Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting patents
- Highly knowledgeable on technical, scientific and legal aspects of intellectual property
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain, clarify, and simplify complex technical information
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail
- Natural leader who can work under pressure and reliably meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required
