Job Description

JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for engineers to join our team in Hugh Town. We offer self employed positions with flexible hours, allowing interested individuals to work either part time or full time.

Responsibilities

• Perform portable appliance testing (PAT) on a variety of devices, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Use calibrated testing instruments, record results in dedicated test reports or electronic systems.
• Communicate findings to employers, explaining any safety concerns or necessary repairs.
• Maintain equipment in good working order, ensuring it meets relevant regulations.
• Travel to client sites within Hugh Town or reasonable commuting distance; nationwide coverage is possible.

Qualifications

• Self employed status with own insurance and equipment calibrated at least once a year.
• City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
• Proven competence and experience in PAT testing.
• Reliable, honest, and with a 'can do' attitude.
• Capacity to travel to sites within the region; nationwide coverage as needed.
