Pastry Chef de Partie

Based in Killarney, Co. Kerry, the O'Donoghue Ring Collection offers hotels, apartments, a spa, restaurants, and bars within the vibrant town centre.

What you'll do

• Assist in the preparation, baking and presentation of pastries, desserts and other baked goods, following recipes and instructions from the Head Pastry Chef.
• Contribute ideas and participate in the creation of new dessert and pastry items, ensuring offerings are modern, innovative and aligned with the restaurant's concept.
• Ensure consistency and quality in all pastries and desserts, maintaining high standards of taste, texture and appearance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all health and safety regulations, proper handling and storage of food, and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and support the overall success of the restaurant.

About you

• Strong pastry and dessert making skills, including knowledge of various techniques and ingredients, creativity, attention to detail and passion for pastry arts.
• Good verbal communication skills, ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business.
