An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Manager to join Lloyd Motor Group based in Carlisle.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 Basic salary with OTE of £32,000 - £35,000, dependant on experience.
Hours: 42.5 per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
Responsibilities- Managing the Parts Advisors / Parts Delivery Drivers to ensure first class customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Creating annual sales & profit plans & forecasts along with operational budgets.
- Finance and cost control; to work closely with your Retailer Accountant, to understand, monitor, control and manage costs where possible.
- Stock management - ensuring that there is adequate stock available on site at all times and that processes are followed in correctly identifying and warehousing of stock items.
- Ensuring best practice housekeeping and health and safety standards are kept for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
- Good leadership skills in managing a team of Parts Advisors and Parts Delivery Drivers.
- Excellent customer relations.
- Proficiency in analyzing reports and managing costs.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
- Must be IT literate, and a working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry is essential.
