Job Description
Overview

We are seeking a Parts Clerk to lead and oversee all aspects of our parts department. This role is critical to our success-supporting customers, driving profitability, and ensuring our service team has what they need to keep equipment running.

Responsibilities
  • Lead & Develop Your Team
    • Coach, train, and support parts staff to achieve high performance
    • Set clear expectations and build a strong, accountable team culture
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and ongoing development
  • Ensure excellent service for both customers and internal teams
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Manage Inventory & Operations
    • Oversee ordering, stocking, and inventory accuracy
    • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand while controlling costs
    • Improve processes for efficiency and organization
  • Grow parts sales through merchandising and customer engagement
  • Monitor KPIs such as margins, fill rate, and inventory turns
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of parts usage, stock levels, and supplier performance
  • Support Service Operations
    • Work closely with technicians to ensure parts availability
    • Minimize downtime and improve workflow across departments
  • Oversee Administration
    • Manage warranty claims, returns, and vendor credits
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with OEM standards
Qualifications
  • Experience in parts, inventory, or dealership operations (agriculture preferred)
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a strong asset
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable using inventory and dealership management systems
  • Results driven with a focus on growth and efficiency
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and related parts
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and inventory management software
  • High School diploma or greater. Minimum 1 2 years progressive experience in farm equipment, construction, or lawn care operations recommended
  • Related mechanical repair experience will be considered
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs daily
  • Typical work in a dealership, repair shop, or warehouse setting; may require regular interaction with customers, service technicians, and suppliers

  • Job Type: Full Time (In person)
  • Expected Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday, weekends as needed on rotation)
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED an asset
  • Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday; Weekends as needed (Rotation)
