Job Description

up to £31,000 pa

42.5 hours a week - on a three-week rota of either 06:00 to 15:00, 11:00 to 20:00, and 08:00 to 17:00, with 30 minutes unpaid break. Additionally, one in three Saturdays.

Your Role: Parts Advisor

At Rygor Auto, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Parts Advisor to support our growing team and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer care, has a strong understanding of parts operations, and brings a commercial mindset to maximise stock control and sales.

The right candidate will have previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a parts position within the automotive industry. You will be confident using technology and ability to use all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge.

You will look add value by ensuring the smooth running of our parts department, contributing to both customer satisfaction and business performance.

Day to day, you will be:
  • Greeting parts customers on site, making them feel welcome and providing exceptional customer service
  • Assisting technicians by looking up and providing parts needed for vehicle repair
  • Answering phone calls and assisting walk-ins and wholesale customers with their part needs
  • Tracking and booking in all incoming or outgoing partsProactively source alternative parts and solutions, leveraging creative problem-solving and supplier networks to minimise downtime and keep customer vehicles operational.
  • Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed appropriately
  • Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer
  • Refer to parts manual to identify the right part for the make and model and year of vehicles being serviced
