Salary: £31,000 per annum
Location: Derby
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30

What you'll be working on

We are looking for a Parts Advisor for our cinch store in Derby. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for ordering parts and consumables as well as storing and issuing parts to the workshop. This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or parts administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances.
  • Answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop.
  • Maintain all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate records are created and maintained.
  • Ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Other ad-hoc duties.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience within the automotive sector
  • Computer literate with experience in using Excel
  • Strong communicative skills - speaking, reading and writing
  • Excellent numerical and literacy skills
  • You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
