Job Description

Our client, a prestigious and award-winning franchise-approved car dealership in Cheltenham, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their dynamic Parts Department. Duties as a Parts Advisor:
  • Providing excellent customer service to trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries
  • Identifying, picking, and dispatching parts accurately and efficiently
  • Managing parts stock control to ensure availability and minimise excess
  • Supplying parts to vehicle technicians within the workshop
  • Covering delivery runs in the absence of the Parts Delivery Driver
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating the electronic parts catalogue system
  • Collaborating closely with the Parts Manager and wider team to deliver high standards of service

Parts Advisor Requirements:
  • Typically, 2-3 years recent experience working within a franchise-approved dealership or motor factor environment
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly with electronic parts catalogue systems (experience with Kerridge/ADP system is advantageous but not essential)
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a friendly, professional telephone manner
  • Knowledge of parts stock control and order processing
  • Reside within a reasonable commute to Cheltenham or nearby
