Parts Advisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced UK Based Parts Advisor to join a busy, customer-focused operation within the motor industry based in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, handling parts enquiries, and managing the ordering process from enquiry through to delivery.

The successful Parts Advisor will play a key role in supporting customers over the phone, ensuring vehicle parts are ordered accurately, delivered on time, and communicated effectively throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls
• Advising customers on vehicle parts, availability, and pricing
• Processing and ordering vehicle parts accurately and efficiently
• Monitoring orders and proactively chasing suppliers for updates
• Keeping customers informed on delivery times and order progress
• Managing customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
• Updating internal systems, including Kerridge/Dealer Management Systems
• Delivering consistently high levels of customer service
• Working closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry is essential
• Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and aftersales operations
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
• Experience using Kerridge or similar dealer management systems
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Confident problem-solver with a proactive approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm
• Every other Saturday

Salary

• £13.19 p/h temp to perm role
