Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Parts Administrator at a reputable franchised commercial vehicle dealership in Manchester.

This Parts Administrator role offers a precise opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a busy Parts Department, focusing entirely on internal workshop support.

  • Cycle-to-work scheme Duties of a Parts Administrator:
  • Accurately input and process parts invoices within the dealership system
  • Identify and locate vehicle parts using manufacturer parts catalogues
  • Ensure additional components such as seals, gaskets, and clips are ordered for repairs
  • Monitor and manage stock levels across multiple manufacturer brands
  • Prepare and pick parts for quotations and warranty repairs
  • Manage surcharge and warranty parts returns in line with manufacturer procedures
  • Liaise closely with technicians and the Workshop or Service Manager
  • Maintain accurate parts, stock, and invoice records
  • Support the Parts Department with general administrative tasks
  • Previous experience within an automotive Parts Department or similar role involving vehicle component knowledge
  • Familiarity with manufacturer parts catalogues and identification of correct part numbers
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicles or light commercial vehicles is advantageous
  • Experience using Dealer Management Systems such as Keyloop, CDK, Kerridge, or comparable platforms is highly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and workload management ability
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced workshop environment
