Partnerships Manager - Lead for Trusts & Foundations

5 days a week or 4 days, £32,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

Responsible to: Head of Partnerships

Location: Camden Collective, Camden Town, with some home working upon request.

We are building stronger connections with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners to ensure we can continue to fund grassroots initiatives that make Camden a fairer place for everyone.

As Partnerships Manager - Lead for Trusts & Foundations, you will play a key role in securing and managing income from trusts and foundations while also supporting corporate partnerships and ensuring effective reporting. Over the last year we've significantly gown our role as an influencer in the sector and we have the ambition to support the UK's funding sector to become more participatory, this role will play a key role in growing networks and securing partnerships to make this happen. Your work will directly contribute to Camden Giving's mission by securing vital funding and fostering relationships that create long-term impact.

Key Tasks

Working within our partnerships team lead by our Head of Partnerships the Partnerships Manager - Lead for Trusts & Foundations will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, applying for, and managing funding from trusts and foundations.
  • Building networks and opportunities to grow Camden Giving's consulting work.
  • Managing relationships with funders and ensuring timely and high-quality reporting.
  • Supporting the Head of Partnerships with day-to-day partnership management.
  • Overseeing corporate partnerships, including funding, volunteering, and in-kind support.
  • Assisting with community fundraising events, such as Camden Giving Week.
  • Supporting the development of fundraising pipelines and long-term funding strategies.
  • Supporting the partnerships team with communications, social media, and marketing relevant to fundraising and partnerships.
PR, Marketing, and Communications Other Responsibilities
  • Acting as an ambassador for Camden Giving.
  • Being available occasionally outside of normal working hours to support Camden Giving events and activities.
  • Supporting grants administration and other tasks at peak times.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience of successfully securing and managing funding from trusts and foundations.
  • A track-record of building partnerships with trusts and foundations.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience working with funders, businesses, or partners across sectors.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in writing funding applications and reports.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • A deep commitment to tackling inequality and a passion for community-driven change.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of corporate partnerships, including managing in-kind support and skilled volunteering.
  • Experience of community fundraising or event-based fundraising.
  • An understanding of Camden's social and economic challenges, either through lived experience or professional knowledge.
  • An existing network of trusts and foundations.

Please note this role will require an Enhanced DBS Check.

We are ideally looking for candidates who can start working with us as soon as possible subject to notice periods etc and we anticipate this being permanent position upon successfully completing a probation period.

We are open to applications from candidates who would like to work a 4-day week or equivalent.
