Job Description
Overview

We are interested in speaking with experienced Family Law Partners who enjoy leading people as much as leading cases and who want to play a meaningful role in shaping the direction of a firm. The role is based in our Birmingham office.

Role and responsibilities

This is a senior position with a strong leadership focus. Alongside managing your own caseload and meeting (and exceeding) fee targets, you'll be a visible leader within the practice - setting standards, supporting colleagues, and helping to build a positive, high-performing team. You'll be involved in planning and attending partnership and strategy meetings, contributing ideas, and helping turn them into action.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop others; manage a substantial caseload while supporting team performance
  • Maintain a strong referral network and grow it further
  • Set standards, support colleagues, and build a high-performing team
  • Participate in partnership and strategy planning; translate ideas into action
What we're looking for / Qualifications
  • A strong and established referral network, with the confidence and enthusiasm to grow it further
  • Proven experience leading and developing others
  • The ability to manage a substantial caseload while supporting team performance
  • A collaborative, positive leadership style
  • Clear, proactive communication across the firm
  • A professional and commercial approach to compliance (SRA, Lexcel and internal processes)
  • A desire to contribute to strategic growth, marketing and the firm's long-term success
