About the role

Our ambition is to continue to further increase the quality of our practice with children and young people and seeking a passionate and strategic Participation Manager to lead our participation services alongside managing the Care Leavers Hub. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by championing the voices of care-experienced young people and shaping services that reflect their needs and aspirations.

As Participation Manager, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of our Children and Young People's Participation and Engagement Strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate the offer to young people at the Care Leavers Hub, creating a safe, welcoming space for young people to access services and support.
  • Provide professional supervision to the Participation Officer and guidance to social workers and partner agencies.

The role includes flexible working hours including evening work.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A confident leader with a relevant degree-level qualification (e.g. Social Work, Youth Work) and at least 3 years' experience working with care-experienced children and young people.
  • Skilled in managing people, projects, and partnerships.
