Job Description

Hours of work: 21.25 (Teaching Assistant-16.25 & Lunchtime Assistant-5) hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for39 weeks per year plus6.05weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Skylark Federation are looking for a Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly village school at Plumpton Green, Lewes. We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.

The hours of work are 8.30am until 12.00 noon, as a teaching assistant, 12.00 noon until 1.00pm as a lunchtime assistant for five days a week.

The successful candidate will support teachers. They will work with children and assist with all learning activities.

You will be an extra pair of eyes in the classroom, picking up on any changes in behaviour and helping to ensure that every child has a safe and happy learning experience.

We are a popular group of schools, and we would love to welcome you to our Federation.We are in a lovely setting but an easy commute from Lewes and other areas.
