Job Description
Lecturer - Sports Therapy

Full time Permanent

Pro rata of £28,500 - £35,000

Think FE is working with a well regarded land based and specialist education college in Northamptonshire to recruit a Lecturer in Sports Therapy on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable sports therapy professional or lecturer who enjoys inspiring students and sharing industry expertise in a practical learning environment.

The Role

You will deliver engaging teaching and training to students studying sport and related courses, supporting them to achieve high standards and develop the skills needed for employment in the sector. The role includes teaching on Higher Education sport programmes, supporting student development, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of sport related provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality teaching on sports therapy and sport related courses
  • Support and tutor groups of full time and part time students
  • Monitor attendance, progress and student achievementParticipate in curriculum development to keep programmes aligned with industry needs
  • Support recruitment activities such as open events and careers fairs
  • Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to course evaluation
  • Participate in internal quality assurance and verification processes
  • Support practical demonstrations and applied learning activities
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times
What We're Looking For
  • Experience teaching or delivering training in sport, sports therapy or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Strong industry knowledge within sports therapy or sports science
  • High level sports therapy qualification (ideally level 6, level 3 can be considered)
  • A passion for supporting and developing learners
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
