Job Description

£12.21 per hour 12.5 hours per week Immediate Starts Available

We are urgently recruiting 3 Cleaners to work at a special educational needs (SEN) school in Bury St Edmunds (IP33). These roles are available for immediate start and offer consistent hours.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 16:00 - 18:30
• 12.5 hours per week
• Immediate start
• Ongoing until at least 30 April 2026

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across the school, including:

• Classrooms and learning areas
• Toilets and washrooms
• Sensory rooms and specialist areas
• Corridors and communal spaces
• General duties including vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces and emptying bins

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Reliable and able to commit to all shifts
• Comfortable working in a school/SEN environment
• Enhanced DBS (with barred list) is required
  • Ideally on the Update Service
