Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant looking for flexible, part-time work?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a small and friendly office based in Leamington, who is looking for someone to join their finance team on an immediate basis to help clear a backlog of work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours, particularly those wanting to work around school drop-offs and pick-ups. The client is flexible on working hours, so start and finish times can be discussed.

The Role

Working closely with the existing finance team, your duties will include:

• Processing purchase invoices onto Sage 200.
  
  
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  
  
• Checking and resolving invoice discrepancies.
  
  
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
  
  
• Dealing with supplier queries via email and telephone.
  
  
• Ensuring invoices are correctly coded and authorised.
  
  
• Supporting with purchase ledger administration and maintaining accurate records.
  
  
• Helping the finance team work through an existing backlog of invoices and general finance administration.
  
  

About You

• Previous experience using Sage 200 is essential.
  
  
• Previous experience within a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
  
  
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  
• Confident working independently and managing your workload.
  
  
• Available to start next week.
  
  

Working Hours

Tuesday to Friday, 4 hours per day.
