Part Time Primary SEND Teacher - Doncaster

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher for a primary school in Doncaster to start as soon as possible, on a part-time, temporary basis until the week ending 17 July 2026. This is a long term supply role working afternoons, Monday to Friday from 12:15pm to 3:15pm, supporting a child on a 1:1 basis while delivering targeted literacy intervention. The school is known for its inclusive and nurturing environment, with a strong commitment to supporting every child's individual needs and promoting positive outcomes for all learners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with autism
• Deliver daily structured literacy interventions
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
• Monitor and record pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with staff to support the child's development

Pre-requisites

• Relevant teaching qualifications
• Proven experience of working with children with autism
• Strong knowledge of primary literacy interventions
• Two education or school based references
• A patient, supportive and adaptable approach to working with children
