Rare Part-Time Opportunity - Management Accountant

Based in North WEST LONDON - £50,000 pro rata

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Management Accountant to join an outstanding, growing business.

This role is 24 hours per week, offering flexibility to work either three full days or five shorter days. Perfect for those who have outside commitments or are looking to work during school hours.

Key responsibilities include:

.Preparing the full set of management accounts

• Primarily the role is the production of Monthly management Accounts and associated monthly financial reports.

In conjunction with your accounting team and the Head of Finance:

• Supervision of an accounting team to ensure all sales and purchase invoices are duly authorised and correctly posted to the nominal, sales and purchase ledgers.
• Ensure adequate credit control is maintained.
• Ensure Sales & Purchase Ledgers are kept in an orderly manner
• Ensure supplier payments are verified and paid within terms
• Produce various monthly, quarterly, annual reports and ad-hoc as required internally and by regulatory bodies.
• Ensure VAT returns, ERP submissions items of a similar nature are prepared and submitted within deadline. (Required for both the UK and certain other export countries).

To be successful:

• Extensive experience of producing commercial management accounts
• Extensive experience within a busy accounting environment.
• Experience of liaison with company auditors

Salary: £50,000 per annum pro rata
