Early Years Practitioner - Part Time Lunchtime Nursery Role

Shooting Stars Nursery - Bromsgrove (B61 0AE)
£14.10 per hour Part time childcare role 11:30am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday

15 hours per week All year round Bank holidays off

We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our established Bromsgrove nursery as a part time Nursery Practitioner, supporting children and staff during the lunchtime period. This lunchtime nursery role is ideal if you're seeking flexible hours, a school friendly schedule, or a reliable midday Early Years support role.

Working across rooms, you'll help create a calm, nurturing experience for children during mealtimes, rest periods and transitions - making this an important and valued role within our friendly nursery team.

About You

This role would suit an Early Years Practitioner / Childcare Practitioner who has:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and confidence supporting children across age groups
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • A warm, calm approach and the ability to adapt across different nursery rooms
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive nursery team
Your Role as a Lunchtime Nursery Practitioner
  • Provide high quality care and supervision during lunchtimes
  • Support mealtimes, rest routines and smooth transitions
  • Work flexibly across the nursery to support staff and children
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming and well organised environment
  • Promote children's wellbeing through positive, reassuring interactions
