Part-Time Independent Living Support (Autism)

Disability North in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated support worker for a 5 hours per week maternity-cover role, based in Benwell. You will help the young person develop independence, including going to the shop, meeting new people, and building confidence in the community.

The role requires a friendly, patient, and understanding demeanor, with the ability to progress at the young person's own pace. A sense of humour and interest in shared activities can be beneficial.
